Beyazıt
Beyazıt is one of Istanbul’s oldest towns located in the Fatih district. The town perfectly reflects the current situation in Istanbul and, of course, Turkey. 15-20 years ago, the area would have been packed with American and European tourists but now it is mostly tourists from the Middle East. It is really easy to label the country as a problematic Middle Eastern country but as a citizen we want to underline the fact that the youth is still here and creating, perfectly in touch with the ‘outer’ world.

We chose especially this hotel because we were fascinated by the fact that it was still the ‘old Istanbul’. We thought it would be a great way to show the flexible vision of fashion with designer and mass retailer pieces in a place, which looks like stuck in time.
